Pi2 model B Openelec Hyperion

  • Hallo Community,

    auch ich als Newbie habe mich an ein Ambilightsystem mit Pi2 und openelec gewagt.

    Mein Problem ist, dass sich zu wenig Ahnung von der Materie habe und jetzt nichtmehr weiterkomme.

    Hardwaretechnisch bin ich wie folgt ausgestattet: Pi2 Model B mit Openelec 5.95.5, 5V 10A Spannungstransformator, WS2801 LED ca 4meter.
    Mein Problem: Ncihts will leuchten.

    via Putty habe ich Hyperion installiert und im configordner ist diese auch drin.
    Spannung liegt auch an der letzten LED an!

    Mein Verdacht liegt darin, dass Hyperion nciht gestartet wird oder die GPIO Pins werden garnicht angesteuert.
    Wie kann ich das überprüfen?
    In meiner autostart.sh steht nur folgendes: /storage/hyperion/bin/hyperiond.sh /storage/.config/hyperion.config.json > /dev/null 2>&1 &

    in meiner config habe ich folgendes eingegeben damit die pins genutzt werden :
    # Ambilight Modul aktivieren
    dtparam=spi=on

    Normalerweise sollten die Leds beim start des Pi2 im XBMC Menü erstma einfach alle Leuchten?

    Hyperion.config.json habe ich auch erstellt und in den configordner kopiert.

    Hänge seit 3 Tagen dadran und zweifle an meinen Fähigkeiten auch wenn ich wenig informatikergeshick besitze :(

  • :) Genau nach dieser Anleitung bin ich gegangen und es funktioniert auf teufel komm raus einfach nicht.
    Mir ist vollkommen klar, dass iwo ein Fehler vorliegt nur würde ich diesen fehler gerne eingrenzen können.

    Sowas fuchst mich total jetzt...
    Entweder ist irgendein bauteil defekt oder die Software macht nicht das was sie soll,

    Bei mir brennt keine einzige LED, nur wenn ich mit der Messspitze des Multimeters an den WS2801 Controller rangehe, also zwei Pins brücke, keuchte die jeweilige LED weiß, aber der PI2 steuert nichts.

    Bitte Fotos von deiner Verkabelung am PI und am LED Strip.

    Aus der Hüfte: Sicher, dass du von der richtigen Seite in den LED Strip gehst? Da sind ja meist Kabel dran. Das sind Ausgänge, keine Eingänge!

  • Das mit Putty werde ich dann ab 16:30 versuchen. Bin zurzeit auf der Arbeit.

    Mein LED Streifen war 5 meter lang. diesen habe ich auf meinen TV zugeschnitten und verlötet und alle Lötstellen auch geprüft. Wie gesagt an der letzten LED kommen ca 5 V an. Mein LED Streifen hat auch einen Pfeil drauf. den habe ich auch beachtet. Es sind ja 4 kabel im originalen am Streifen dran. einmal V+, DI, CI und Grnd. V+ und Grnd sind ja wohl plus und minus und DI und CI sind die Datenleitungen. Diese Datenleitungen sind am Pi dran undzwar laut der Powerpi Beschreibung DI an Pin 19 und CI an Pin 23. und so isses angeklemmt. ich habe die Datenleitungen auch mal vertrauscht hat sich aber nix getan. Wie gesagt der Pfeil gibt wohl die Stromflussrichtung an und dieser geht bis zum Ende des Streifen in die Richtige Richtung.

  • Hier die Bilder.
    bitte nicht +ber die verschiedenen kabelfarben wundern. Die Kabel sind nur testweise dran und sind aber alle Laut der PowerPi-Beschreibung angeschlossen. Die Stromkabel gehen direkt an den Transformator, Masse vom Pi geht direkt an den Transformator und die datenlöeitungen gehen an den PI Pin 19 und 23.

  • Hi
    ich habe die Lötpunkte immer mit dem Multimeter durchgetestet, also Diodenmessung, und die Berühren sich nicht. Ich habe jetzt den Stripe abgenommen vom TV und auf den Boden gelegt. Neue pins genommen und alle Kabel ersetzt und gerpüft ob sie Durchgang haben. Meiner Meinung nach ist Stromtechnisch alles i.O. Laufrichtung stimmt auch, Spannung liegt an. Wie gesagt ich kann jede einzelne LED zum leuchten bringen, wenn ich zwei bestimmte Pins am jeweiligen Controller überbrücke.

    Ich verstehe nur nicht, wenn ich alles so mache wie in der Anleitung, undzwar exakt so, dass es trotzdem nicht funktioniert.

  • Also bei installation passiert folgendes:

    Wenn ich die Sd-Karte formatiere und openelec neu aufspiele dann steht nach der sinatllation in Putty " hyperion is added to autostart"
    wenn ich es z.b. danach nochmal mache steht das nichtmehr da. Ich dekne mal weil es bereits installiert ist.

    Habe die SD-Karte mehrmals schon formatiert und openelec neu aufgespielt:-(
    Aber fehlermeldungen, dass hyperion nicht installiert wurde o.ä. tauchen nicht auf.
    Nach der Installation ist ja auch hyperion.config.json im Configfiles Ordner vorhanden.

  • Ok sieht für mich eigentlich gut aus. Dann passt irgendwas an der Verkabelung nicht oder Du hast das extrem seltene Pech das Deine LEDs defekt sind.

    Auf deinem steifen ist das leider nicht erkennbar aber weil wir das auch schon mal hatten, frag ich zur Sicherheit nochmal. Der Streifen ist schon einer für 5v und nicht für 12v oder?

  • Ok Leute, fehler gefunden,

    der Chip der 1. LED ist anscheinend defekt und hat keinen Datenstrom mehr durchgelassen. Led abgetrennt und alles angeschlossen, feherl behoben.
