Raspberry 2: Monitor über DVI zeigt kein Bild :-(

  • Liebe Experten,

    ich habe einen neuen Raspi 2, aber der Monitor, der über einen HDMI-DVI Adapter angeschlossen ist, zeigt leider kein Bild an.

    In der config.txt habe ich NUR hdmi_save=1 eingestellt; alle anderen Zeilen sind auskommentiert.
    Ich denke, ich habe den richtigen HDMI/DVI Adapter; jedenfalls klappt die Verbindung von Notebook HDMI zu Monitor DVI; nicht jedoch die Verbindung vom PI.
    Dies ist der Adapter:

    Habt ihr eine Idee, woran es liegt? Der Bildschirm wurde ja offenbar korrekt erkannt
    (siehe unten); Dennoch kommt kein Bild...

  • Raspberry 2: Monitor über DVI zeigt kein Bild :-(? Schau mal ob du hier fündig wirst!

  • Hat keiner eine Idee? Das finde ich schade! Ich werde, sobald es die Zeit zulässt, mal weiter forschen.

    Zwei Dinge fallen mir spontan ein, die ich noch versuchen könnte:
    a) prüfen, ob alle 24 Leitungen von HDMI nach DVI im Kabel + Adapter geschaltet sind.
    b) checken, welche Auflösungen das HDMI-Kabel inkl. Adapter schafft, wenn ich den Notebook dranhänge.

    Sonst fällt mir wenig ein. Was meint ihr? Kann das zusätzliche Erkenntnisse bringen??

  • So langsam gehen mir die Ideen aus :wallbash: :helpnew:

    Mein momentanes Fazit:

    a) Die Hardware (HDMI-Kabel mit HDMI/DVI Konverter) scheint einwandfrei zu funktionieren.
    Eine Verbindung vom Notebook (HDMI) zum Bildschirm (Terra 2445W, DVI) funktioniert problemlos bis 1920x1080 Auflösung.
    Ich weiss nicht, ob der HDMI/DVI Adapter ein Single-Link (19 Leitungen) oder ein Dual-Link (24 Leitungen) ist;
    laut EBAY-Beschreibung ist es ein Dual-Link-Adapter. Der Raspberry sollte aber auch mit Single-Link klarkommen;
    jedenfalls geht Single-Link bis zu einer Auflösung von 1920x1080.

    b) Die Verbindung zwischen Raspberry und Monitor scheint auch zu funktionieren.
    Immerhin hat der Raspberry erkannt, dass der Monitor ein TERRA_2445W ist und welche Modi er beherrscht.

    c) Die HDMI-Verbindung des Raspberry funktioniert ebenfalls korrekt. Ich habe den Rechner bei einem Freund
    an einen HDMI-Fernseher angeschlossen und konnte problemlos arbeiten.

    d) Dennoch meldet der Monitor nur lapidar 'kein Signal'. Das Bild kommt einfach nicht an.
    Der Rechner zeigt keine Fehlermeldungen; er geht vermutlich davon aus, dass das Signal korrekt beim Bildschirm ankommt.

    Ich habe schon ziemlich viel in den Weiten des Internet gesucht und diverse Einstellungen ausprobiert.
    So hatte ich mir den Einstieg mit den Raspberry eigentlich nicht vorgestellt; zumal ich ihn für ein Projekt
    verwenden möchte, bei dem ein 'Kiosk-System' zum Einsatz kommt und ich dachte, den Raspberry mit einem
    einfachen, gebrauchten Monitor verwenden zu können...

    Da werde ich mir wohl etwas anderes überlegen müssen...
    Sehr schade und frustrierend, aber soo schnell lasse ich mich nicht entmutigen!


  • Was steht denn in der config.txt in Bezug auf HDMI?


    Sorry für die verspätete Antwort :sleepy:

    Da ich per SSH auf den Raspberry zugreifen kann, habe ich verschiedenste Einstellungen
    in der config.txt ausprobiert und jeweils neu gebootet:

    a) config.txt ganz weglöschen (Das war ein Tipp, den ich beim Googeln gefunden habe)
    b) config.txt ohne irgendwelche HDMI Einträge
    c) nur hdmi_safe=1
    d) hdmi_force_hotplug=1
    e) diverse Kombinationen aus hdmi_group, hdmi_mode und hdmi_drive (inkl. Kontrolle mit /opt/vc/bin/tvservice)
    f) hdmi_ignore_cec=1 (Ich dachte, evtl. liegt's ja daran, dass der Monitor kein cec kann)
    g) diverse Einstellungen von config_hdmi_boost. Damit wird wohl die Signalstärke geregelt.

    Mein Fazit:

    Mit den Tools /opt/vc/bin/tvservice und /opt/vc/bin/edidparser müsste ich doch eigentlich
    erkennen können, was da los ist, nämlich:
    1. Der Monitor wird erkannt! --> hdmi_force_hotplug=1 ist nicht erforderlich
    2. Mit tvservice kann ich hdmi ein- und ausschalten und im laufenden Betrieb die Modi ändern. --> Die Modi sehen OK aus.
    3. Mit tvservice kann ich sogar die HDMI-Events verfolgen. Wenn ich den Monitor aus- und wieder
    einschalte, erkenne ich, dass die beiden Geräte sich im laufenden Betrieb synchronisieren.
    4. Es sieht alles gut aus. Ich habe keine Idee, was falsch läuft. Dennoch zeigt der Monitor kein Bild an.
    Meine Vermutung ist: Der Raspi sendet HDMI-Signale aus, die der Monitor irgendwie nicht erkennt. :s

    Wenn ich nicht genau wüsste, dass die Kombination aus Kabel + Adapter an diesem Bildschirm einwandfrei
    funktioniert, würde ich darauf tippen.

    Ich werde nicht weiter forschen, weil ich keine Idee mehr habe. Sehr schade!
