es ist jetzt möglich über die USB zu booten ohne dass man eine SD-Karte benötigt.

Allerdings ist es noch BETA. Es funktionieren nicht alle USB-Sticks/USB-Harddisks damit

Mir ist es nach dieser Anleitung gelungen direkt von einer USB-Harddisk (WD 314 PiDrive) zu booten.
Hab es allerdings bis jetzt nur mit Raspbian-Lite ausprobiert.
