Samba Server mit Samsung TV

Heute ist Stammtischzeit:
Jeden Donnerstag 20:30 Uhr hier im Chat.

  • Hallo zusammen,

    ich habe den Samba Server auf meinem Raspi installiert und er klappt unter Windows mittlerweile auch ohne Probleme. Er wird genau wie mein "richtiges" NAS im Netzwerk angezeigt und ich kann Daten hin und her schieben.
    Mein einziges Problem ist folgendes: Ich würde gerne über meinen Samsung Fernseher Filme vom Raspi NAS abspielen, allerdings kann ich es mit dem Fernseher nicht finden.
    Mein anderes NAS und auch mein Fritz!NAS werden ohne Probleme erkannt.
    Hat jemand eine Ahnung woran das liegen könnte? Ist das eine Samba Einstellungssache? Oder gibt es Unterschiede zwischen dem Samba NAS und einem normalen NAS, sodass mein TV es nicht findet?

    SAMSUNG benötigt da einen sog. dlna server.
    Versuche es mal mit dem Twonky server.

    Wird neuerdings auch offiziell unterstützt:

    Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear and by considering each and every one's opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.
